The CLCP promotes literacy in Troup County by involving the entire community to promote and support literacy awareness and resources. Mama Jama promotes everyday reading and graduation from high school. Dictionaries are given to all third graders with emphasis on staying in school and graduating on time. The community encouraged to donate books to “recycle” back into the community. Books are placed at waiting areas for children to read and take home.

- Be an advocate for literacy, speaking at various events to support literacy and life-long learning.
